Description
This breathtaking photograph showcases the vibrant Arrowleaf Balsamroot wildflowers in Grand Teton National Park. Wildflowers in the Tetons bloom from May to September, creating a stunning, ever-changing display. Due to the region’s short growing season, with only around 60 frost-free days each year, each bloom is a fleeting treasure. The wildflowers are not to be picked, allowing future visitors to enjoy their beauty and ensuring they continue to provide vital habitat and food for the area’s wildlife. As a local resident and passionate photographer, I’ve spent countless hours exploring the Teton wilderness, capturing its natural beauty. This image, featuring the majestic Cathedral Group in the background, is part of my Open-Edition Prints collection. It’s perfect for anyone who appreciates the delicate balance of nature and the fleeting beauty of wildflowers.
