Spotlight on Wyoming Whiskey Partnership: The Story Behind the Label
A behind-the-scenes look at a Wyoming Whiskey private label collaboration featuring original Wyoming photography and a recent tasting video.
I recently came across a YouTube tasting video featuring a Wyoming Whiskey private label that uses one of my photographs as the bottle’s label art — and it’s the second bottle they taste in the lineup. Seeing my work become part of a Wyoming-made product is exactly the kind of collaboration I love: local, authentic, and rooted in place.

The Story Behind the Wyoming Whiskey Label
That label started as a moment in the field — one of those scenes that immediately feels like Wyoming. When Wyoming Whiskey selected my photograph for their private label, it was an honor to help visually represent a brand that reflects the same landscape and character that inspire my work.
This collaboration brings together two crafts: photography and distilling — both shaped by patience, detail, and respect for the environment.
From Landscape to Finished Bottle

That original photograph captured the mood and character I wanted the label to convey — timeless, bold, and unmistakably Wyoming.
Seeing the final bottle come together was incredibly rewarding. The craftsmanship behind Wyoming Whiskey paired with the story behind the image makes this collaboration something special. If you want to get your hand on a bottle, you better act quick because they are going fast. Click here and you can get a bottle shipped to you.
Working with Wyoming Brands
Collaborations like this remind me why I do what I do: to help tell the story of this place through imagery. Whether it’s a bottle label, a print on someone’s wall, or a photo in a publication, every project carries a piece of Wyoming with it.
If you’re interested in licensing photography or creating a custom visual identity for your brand, I’d love to connect.
